Yes, it is expensive, but it is worth it, trust me, I have been using them since childhood…..! our house in Paris had that perfect cypress smell and on the center table the perfect looking candle….!

Care and Burning Instructions: With a concentration of perfume oil greater than in eau de toilette, the Rigaud candles should be placed at a height midway between floor and ceiling to to assure better diffusion. It is not necessary to burn the candle for a long time; just a few hours are enough to obtain the full benefit of its fragrance. The soft wax soon becomes liquid, which means that its perfume is quickly released. After the candle has been put out and the wax has hardened, leave the lead on the top of the glass in order to retain all the richness of the perfume in the wax.

Save your $$ for the best candle and brand in the business. This is the grand daddy of all scented candles. I have used for open house and several agents have wanted to steal it. Not going to lie: yes, these candles are hideously expensive. And yet worthwhile. The perfume is strong, but not overpowering. Natural not fake. And one can last you a whole year of pine scented evenings. My wife & I have been using these for ages. Once in a blue moon she tries some other brand of scented candle, but regardless of price, none of these have ever measured up. Thank you, Bougies Rigaud for setting an unmatchable standard of excellence. We highly recommend it!
Also this is cheaper alternative (don't worry it's the same Rigaud candle), with a burn time of 25 hours.
